There was this time that I experienced with a friend that I will call "E"...well "E" and I reviewed where I had just parked on Lombard and analyzed whether or not it was okay where I parked. So we scoped out the scene and determined that we did not see any signs stating no parking. Apparently we did not do such a good job scoping out the scene and I had a ticket the next morning...and actually, we really didn't put that much effort to really reviewing whether or not I could park there. Seriously, don't we live in a democracy and shouldn't I be able to park anywhere I want anyway. There is no reason that that area should be no parking anyway as I was not blocking a drive, near a fire hydrant, etc. I blame this on Harding as we have gone down a slippery slope since he has been in office. Seriously? So the moral of the story that I have learned is not to have a car in the city and get a pair of decent shoes to walk in.
